The PS4 (PlayStation 4) is probably one of the most anticipated products of 2013. Sony made the announcement in February that it will be releasing the PS4 this holiday season, and we here at Classy Bro cannot wait to get our hands on it!
Here are some cool things to look forward to with the release of the system this Christmas.
1. The Controller.
Although it may look similar to the PS3 controller and has that same boomerang design, there are some new features.
The new social share button on the top left lets you share anything and everything that you may want your friends to see as far as gaming goes.
It also comes with a touch screen, which at this point in time, I dont think anyone knows what it will do… but either way, I’m sure it will come in handy.
Also rumors of a headphone jack?
2. The Console.
With graphics being an essential improvement with gaming systems, the PS4 will not disappoint.
Packing 8GB of DDR5 memory means that the console will be able to handle a crap ton of processes, which only means more details in your gaming experience.
Developers are already in development of the next gen games to debut on PlayStation 4, and so far from the trailers we have seen, the detail looks amazing… Can you say Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4 anyone?
Also, the fact that it will be based on a PC framework will make it so much simpler for developers to design games for it, and for gamers to possibly hack the system as well… not sure if that is a good thing.
3. Online Gaming
Sony also announced that they will be revamping the PlayStation Store and online mode for games in general. With lots of flak for having a terrible online experience when it comes to multiplayer online, Sony has decided to do things right and have an online mode that is not laggy or crashing all the time.
Sony also said that through PlayStation Network, players will be able to try out any game before they decide to purchase it. This has been a huge pitfall for past gamers since you were essentially buying a game you did not know was going to be good or not.
